Artist Reply: The traditional custom of carving a couple’s names and initials on trees has now been replaced by Locks of Love by our modern generation. They are usually seen affixed to bridges, fences and other famous locations which are frequented by young couples who are just dating or newly married couples. Now they are used internationally by showing their undying love and commitment to each other, especially on Valentines Day. Best wishes.. Keith (Art4u)
