what's my Motivation?

copyright. This is a charcoal self-portrait I did in college. The goal was to draw yourself in a way that could describe your personality. I'm not sure if I got it, but I did get motivated.

You are great at capturing emotion with just a line or some shade.

Nice drawing. Hard question to answer. I like the distortion and the feel of the work. Artist's self portraits are always very revealing. Afterall, no one wants to do a bad self portrait. As to what makes people want to create, that is very difficult. It is something inherent, because it certainly isn't the money. If I had to live off what I had sold in my life, I would be long since dead. As my wife reminds me so often "don't give up your day job."

I would say "Anger" and "dislike of the world" and "willingness to hurt someone" and maybe "fear". But nothing good.
