Soft Pastel on Card. 30x24cm. Depicts the river Sarine in Kanton Fribourg, Switzerland emerging from the Schiffenensee on its ultimate way to the Rhine via the river Aaare. Sketched on-site late August (2013)afternoon, sunlight flattened background so a bit of a challenge to depict structure. Sketch for an oil study. Signed lower LHC.

Heavenly painting as there were of the Rivers flow, So very lovely tranquil piece of art. especially with sweet blooms of Green growing all over rampantly.
