I thought I'd lost this set of photos. As I recall, it was the first and last Dusk Alley Festival held August 23, 1981 in Austin, TX. Behind me you see several acrylic paintings of a more abstract style than I do nowadays. I had been drawing forever; I had been painting (seriously) for less than two years. :)

This is a Really Great Blast from the Past, Charles!!!!!! Those Abstracts look Deep & Complex!!!!!!!! And You look Proud & Handsome Standing Tall before Your Work!!!!!!!! Really Great!!!!!!!!! Back in 1981 I was 17. Me & a Friend went & seen The Rolling Stones at Rich Stadium in Buffalo, New York.( Tattoo You, Tour ) It is Fun to have Good Memories of Golden Times. Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!
