It is probably easier to be a bird than a man. A bird has a limited skill-set predicated by instinct only, or so we are taught. A man's skill-set is potentially limitless, yet he willfully wears intellectual mule-blinds for the sake of blending in until, eventually, he mistakes this self-imposed limitation for reality.
