This is a re-do of an image from 2008. It's a toss-up whether one is 'better' than the other. I prefer the face in the original to this one, but other elements worked rather well. I used felt-tip, w/c pencil and gel pen. The heart is pure gel. :) Image area 7 by 5 inches on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art still beating in northwest Austin, Texas.

Before turning to a multi-media approach in many of my color pieces felt tip pen and color pencils are a favorite to me too....but you definitely take your use of them to the creative extreme....your images pop off the screen!
