Broken, yet whole. Imperfect, yet perfect. Ugly, yet beautiful. Puzzlemen's Heart is based off a character from my head, with those ideas in mind. This was a mixed media project from my 3D design class. I used wire and... I want to say plaster cast, but I'm afraid I will say the wrong media. It was the exact same stuff used to make my mask. There is diamond cross wiring in the heart that was covered with plaster. I wanted to make the heart look mechanical but I ended up with a more earthy look instead and it has come out as a sort of urban concrete diamond in the rough. (one of my classmates compared it to the Hunchback of Notre Dame, and I couldn't help but feel pleased by this.)
