Queen of Pentacles

One of a series of four Japanese Queens of the Tarot deck. The simplest of the series - I wanted a slightly surreal effect with the peacock showing through the obi. In Japan, the nape of the neck is considered sexy, like cleavage in the west. She is dressed like a traditional modern day geisha.

oh wow! this one is so lovely. The peacock is a nice symbolic form of the petnicale. I have never seen it used before. So original!

very good. I like the way you carried the peacock feathers onto her clothing at her back. (is it called a kobi?)
