When will we learn?

War.....The history of combatants goes back to Cain & Able.....is it a Chaotic gene in man to slay each other over POWER/MONEY/RELIGION.....or is it part of the grand scheme known as LIFE?

Wow, Thom.... -- Love this picture, since it covers your title so well! History repeats itself --Love and lots of LIGHT~Olga

The title is so true... I think that it had to do with men's nature, intolerance and longing to get always more and more and to have it his way. War is of all times, only with the weapons of today men can much more destry.

A STORY-different part of the world...February,12 1955,Arie Kenig(my mother's brother)volunteer on a mission as a sniper, instead of someone else. After a long day, alone in field of fire,he got a bullet directly in his brain. The man.who hold him, with his brain out of his head,in his last minutes, supposed to go on that mission. That man came few month ago,in a memorial day,to tell our family this story. THANK YOU ,THOM...I Think it is the most POWERFUL image in your portfolio, until now.

many layers to this as are the layers of pain caused from conflict. it is our curse to love what we destroy and destroy what we love. i often think we can hate each other so much only because we are each part of each other and it is easier to turn the blade upon the 'outside' us than our own selves...

Lexi Madison 24 Sep 2004

Sad, but never. Leonardo Di Vinci once wrote: "As long as men eat meat (I think he may have mean lack compassion for other beings we consider to be less than us) there cannot be peace. I've also heard that true evil exists only in a small number of people, but the rest of the people turn the other way, not wanting to know, unless it is in their backyards. Great illustrative concept.
