The original ink piece was completed 11"x14" in on Bienfang Water Colour Paper; a historic piece #2 of Historic Irvington, Indianapolis, IN, was created to honor our haunted, but fun, Historic Irvington piece for all of my Indy fans and followers. It has James Dean in it, reading a book by James Whitcomb Riley...Washington Irving mini-portrait...Free Mason Lodge #666...Thomas Carr Howe High School, named after the famous/highly educated artist major @ Harvard who during WWII was one of the famous Monument's Men, though not mentioned in the latest movie made to honor these heroes, some of whom gave their lives to save famous artifacts from around the world...the Benton House, home of the President of Butler College...and more historical locations in Irvington, Indy!

You have such a keen attention to detail & I love it! You've packed so much history into an 11"×14" space & the layout in this piece is so well balanced & has an amazing flow- this is something I would display in my home... Keeps the eyes moving in such an appeasing sense... Always something new to discover!

Artist Reply: Anna-Marie, thank you so very much for your generous compliments. I love doing pieces that require a lot of detail so that each time the owner of piece will see, notice, something different that they had noticed before, but it's not, "Find Waldo." :) And especially thank you for the "well balanced" compliment. I try to do that with almost all of my art pieces. Once again, much thanks and hope this message finds you in good health and happy!

You've certainly packed a lot of historical references into this piece, Mark. The amber tone lends itself well to add a feel of antiquity over all, I think. Very good work.

Artist Reply: Thanks Charles! This piece is actually black ink on white canvas board. The amber tone actually turned out to be the best pic I could get ...it is at least focused! Just sold two prints of this one... and thanks so much for your very kind words!
