My daughter has a huge avacado tree in their backyard in LA; problem is, the fruit is too high to pick and the squirrels feast when they hit the ground.
EXCELLENT PHOTOS, JOHN. I DO NOT LIKE SPIDERS AT ALL. SO THE BOTTOM ONE IS SCARY TO ME.
Artist Reply: Dear Sharon It's only a fake! You are so very kind and gracious with Your outstanding comments and compliments, Thank You so much! Sorry to have scared You.
WOW! This is a great close-up of a very strange creature, indeed, John!!! I don't think I've ever seen one. He's HUGE!!! But in the photo below, isn't that a fake spider?!? I sure hope so....I wouldn't want him in my garden!!!! YIKES!!!
Artist Reply: Dear Patricia, Yes it is a fake 'Halloween' Spider. You are so very kind and gracious with Your outstanding comments and compliments, Thank You so much!
Say hello to him, John! Love crickets when I go southwords where they are numerous in Euorpe., I associate them with summer, heat and vacation, but sometimes at night they can be bothering! Great macros!
So glad he is now in the avocado tree, I had crickets in my house one time and it was awful, get chills when I see them, wonderful photos!
Artist Reply: Yes he was so happy to find a piece of wood to crawl under in soft dirt. They are a little scary at first but they are not mean critters.
