good piece,! thought provoking but still attractive in a way that takes the viewer in ever deeper!! i remember my days as a musician,,mostly fondly!,, but the packing your gear down and heading home,,trying to lose the buzz of performing so you can get some sleep,, but that buzz!! nothing beats it!! but as you say, the less glamorous side of life is a huge part of the glitz and glamour the "paying public" sees

For a man named Licht, you do some pretty dark pieces on occasion, Helmut. ;) I think 'glamour' like celebrity, power and wealth always has a dark side, since it is impossible to extract it from the mind-set that created it and that mind-set is so imperfectly 'human.' In fact, in my mind, glamour is the pretty sugar-coating we super-impose on the other three.

Artist Reply: Good one Charles! I see yet another side to glamour: I've been playing professional music since 1958. One moment we're on the stage in the spotlights, the next we are moving our equipment, through the kitchen out the back door and load it into our cars at times in pretty dark alleys. When I create art I don't start with a theme, the name comes after I stop and have a look at it. In this particular piece I saw Las Vegas at night, the glamor lights and the dark street and alleys. Thanks for your great comment!
