***SOLD***Oil on Birch wood panel. 16"x24".
This painting is a statement about how women
are losing the right to choose. It is NOT a
statement about 'pro-choice' or 'pro-life'.
Simlpy stated: It is a statement about how
the right to choose is dying.
I always like political art. Sometimes it works, sometimes not, but it is a reflection of something the person really cares about. I think focusing on the anguish of a particular woman (ie closer on the face or subject) would enhance the emotional impact on the viewer. Nice technique on the rocks and clouds.
