When I first looked at this I saw only the more contrasting vertical ripples, then I noticed the diagonal lines running across it, then, finally I noticed vein-like indentations rising from the bottom. This is like people viewing people; most of us only see the first layer, the larger more contrasting ripple and never stop long enough to find the subtle complexities that are there as well. Stopped and made me think a bit, Nikolay. :)
Artist Reply: You're so right, Charles, about the different layers of the beauty. There's one, which is skin-deep only, but there's an endless number of others. Perception here is too dependable a thing. So glad you can look deep. Thank you for the comment that puts my kettle on fire :-)).
