Earlier this year I had the honor of painting a mural in a playroom at a shelter for women and children. I started this painting then as I thought of how horrible it must be to live in fear constantly. I read that 25% of women in this country will be sexually and/or physically abused in their life time. Come on guys! Get it together!

She wouldn't need to worry; I wouldn't. But your statistics are dead on. Very moving piece and I certainly understand your motivation, Cecil.
