I worked on several clay pieces in '06. This one fits perfectly in my left hand with my thumb snug in the indention you see. It is glazed and measures 2 and 1/4 inches by 6. Original Jones Art solidifying, perhaps even glazing over, in Austin, Texas.

Beautiful piece. POD of the day!

Artist Reply: Thank you, Ginger! I was thinking of doing more pieces using clay but my paper (papier) mache mixture won out as the most cost effective and doesn't require my finding a clay/pottery shop to fire them for me. Kilns can be quite costly especially where larger pieces are concerned. Your comment is much appreciated. :)

This is a wonderful piece! Sometimes simplicity can be beautiful!!!

Artist Reply: Thank you, Catherine! I thought it had a rather sleek yet organic feel to it.
