Artist Reply: Thank you very much Kathryn, this illustrates a dream I had as a young man, it was very intense at first but it did become very comforting after a while. This work hasn't been commented very much but it remains one that I still appreciate even though it was created over twenty years ago.

i like the angel you portray, much better than the proverbial grim reaper.. this gives peace to the one departed, despite the tears of those around. classically painted by a masterful artist indeed....
