"This is the first in a series of painting based on 'woodcut techniques'. Although the image was still very carefully planned, working with the acrylic paint seemed to provided a much needed release of 'right brain' creative energy. I believe the contrast between the left brain planning and playful painting can be felt and enjoyed by anybody viewing the piece.". Copyright Chris Bailey 2004.
