Corvette 1963

Corvette 1963 was the first year of the C2 model, with the Corvette having a completely new look, it had a split rear window, which only lasted one year, also the headlamps were hidden , this was the first on an American car since 1942. It was also the first year that the name Sting Ray was used. That year production was 21,513 with 10,919 convertibles at a base price of $4,037$ and 10,594 being Coupes with a base price of $4,257. The Corvette could go from 0 to 60 in 5.8 sec. and the ¼ mile in 14.5 sec.
