Light

Stormy, roaring, silent, shish,
sea and ocean’s coming in.
Waving, turning, water, ruder,
roll and ending at the cliff.
Splashing than, much deeper, darker,
from their climb, to higher heights.
Whirling into softer deepness,
twirling up what sees the light!

Great seashell capture!!

Artist Reply: It is a light I made out of a sea shell. Making a tiny hole through the shell I could use boulds to make an iron construction behind, to make a light behind.

Beautiful & very different from your other work! :)

Artist Reply: Somehow yes, but all related are to the thoughts of twirling things up. Photographs are more someone others "thing". Still I enjoy to make bridge to 3D and real photo's. At http://www.artwanted.com/imageview.cfm?id=861387&SGID=14884 there is a background in my work that is a real photograph, without any filters or tricks, conected to the woman in "3D" work infront.

Very charming capture of this lamp.........gives a very romantic and soft light!

Artist Reply: I am glad you like it Stefani. First I tried it to make in clay, but when I woke up the next morning I had only little squares. That was because the clay had shrunk and the mould of chicken wire had made littles quares of it. Still wanted such a lamp at my wall so made it from a real shell.
