There’s a door for us to open – it passes through the heart – that wall that lies between us – beyond which we must pass – it keeps us from each other – for brothers all are we – if we can push it from us – One blood in us shall be. This door opens into a section of the wall that surrounds Mission San Jose in San Antonio, Texas. A few hundred yonks back the residents of the mission lived literally within its walls that kept the wilds at bey – I suspect in the sweltering summer they camped in the large inner court where the air moved more freely. What hardships they faced daily as explorers we can only guess. This image expresses how we keep ourselves apart – by now viewers might recognize my photos to be an interpretation of memories driven by the mechanism of our minds and the way they work ~:0) VivaChas!

Your words give this door so much heart; more than the eye can see at first glance.....
