Sheltie- Whisper and Secret

*ORIGINAL DONATED TO CHARITY* WHISPER AND SECRETare Sheltie's with a mother/son bond I have never seen before between two dogs. They are literally bound at the hip and never, ever are apart. This pair of Shetland Sheepdogs have the most beautiful coats I have ever seen. In fact, their coats were so thick that the owner could not keep up the maintenance and found herself giving them away to someone who had the time to do so. When I began painting POOCH PORTRAITS I knew that I had to paint WHISPER AND SECRET. I loved using shades of orange, purple, blue, and yellow to complement their natural coloring. If you would like for me to create a "POOCH PORTRAIT" of your dog please contact me via e-mail and we will begin the very brief and affordable process.

Their fur is not different cloros.. I believe they can be the same color combinations.Shelties are much smaller. Collies are also a bit more of a "guarding" breed than a herder.. both are very intelligent and need mental stimulation and exercise to be happy. Shelties have a tendancy to be vocal ("yappy") if allowed to be, I'm not sure about collies. Collies are generally more calm than Shetlies, that can become skittiish without enough socialization.References :
