To this date, my very best Red Tail hawk shot I am sharing with everyone. Never seen this behaviour before. Here I am preparing calmly for a flight shot, but what is happening here is that this Red Tail is preparing for another Hawk coming right at him and side swiped him right off the branch and I was 50 feet from the whole thing, my lucky day! Probably was his mate playing. I got the shot of it falling off the branch but is blurry, wasn't expecting this at all. You never know what you are going to get and this day was awesome!!!!!The tail is completely fanned out and the wings in a perfect triangle formation, so lucky to see this action, and my heart was just pounding!
