The round shape dominates the canvas. The edge of brown, almost orange, contrasts nicely with the deep blue. It has a lunar feel.

So Beautiful, Olga! Made myself a painting once like this; looks like yours! It was after losing my daughter, Marieke, after giving her birth the 1 of july, 1984. After two days she dies. Terrible experience. Till today suddenly I noticed it's always following me like a moonshadow. But now I am a happy woman, having 2 healthy children. One is coming back from half year Ghana, Africa, studying medicines now. She is an psychologist but loves to travel and to study. Other child my son became a very good cook! But still in my heart is that tiny wound.......

Artist Reply: Jemig Annette.... Wat een verlies.... Dank je voor je mooie woorden en openbaring. Ik denk dat Marieke altijd in een een stukje van je hart blijft wonen. Hugs, LOVE AND (moon) LIGHT, OLGA
