Artist Comments: "While driving between Aberdeen and Westport, Washington, I spied this wonderful old car. I knew gouache would be a perfect medium to convey the soft aging of the paint, and the rust spots beginning to eat away at its former grandeur. This old Buick (of early 1950's vintage) was at one time a luxury car, envied by many who saw her gracefully touring the roadways of the West, in 'days long gone by'."
