I can't believe I didn't comment on this (yet), Anneke. So, if Late (over a half year!) is not preferred over NEVER, what can I do? Start right now on TWO COMMENTS for the coming year-end holidays?! That's easy to do NOW, because your works always and so predictable -- PREDICTABLY extraordinary works of art! And not all predictably similar, either! Continually you dare to experiment in areas, styles, colors, you-name-them -- how do you keep presenting us with another, and another "ANNEKE" master work?! Take this lovely card, for instance. I probably forgot for a while just now that I had stopped here to write about THIS painting and was distracted by others on my way through the beautiful and enviable collection! (probably that's how I failed to comment on it six months ago. And Whoever else would have thought of doing a sort of traditional card of Love: this time a lovely lady surrounded by seven cats or dogs of different sizes or colors, all waiting for her attention! And who but a lover of animal companions so accurately have managed the angles of the black and white kitty on the lady's left shoulder? It's tail leads me into the surrounding foliage -- the only green in the image -- as on the other side the calico cat's tail leads down to entwine with the green stem as both circle the sign.
