This painting of the Pope is a part of the Van Goghproject In Antwoord (In Answer), a project between two Dutch artist who have a virtual atelier on the internet in wich they share artwork that is a comment on the themes of Van Gogh's live and letters. We relate it to our own work and live too. The Pope's portrait is related to the theme 'religion'
