it never hurts to try other mediums debi so give it a go because you are an excellent pencil artist and have great tone control so you will pick it up no problem,, i have just started painting a bit after years of doing pencil work and it is challenging working with colour but great fun learning.

great job . please dont stop . I know you want to expand into painting. tip . try painting with a very dry brush its like a pencil an you will do fine . your a great artist.
