Artist Reply: Yes they are so brave and wonderful parents to their young. This one was about one metre from where I stood with my camera and they come even closer if need be.

Artist Reply: Thanks Alessandra. I am so fortunate to be able to get so close to these birds They are within two metres from me but flap their wings as well and do not keep this pose for more than a few seconds.
