A fascinating tree - an almost perfect inverted triangle with branches making triangles within it. What a wonderful adaption to catch the most sunlight!

Artist Reply: Thank you so much for your comment and particularly for the interesting observation about the triangles.

This tree even so it is big and interesting , it appears bare, is that how it should look?I like the umbrella shape of this tree! Great shot.

Artist Reply: Yes the umbrella shape is typical and what makes these trees stand out. In this photo the tree is just sprouting new leaves after the winter when it loses foliage. When all leaves are recovered it has wonderful shade which is always appreciated in our hot climate and therefore also the decision to preserve the tree for the parking lot. The company also planted young paper bark trees in the parking lot..
