I started painting about 2 years ago. I always pictured myself as a painter, it just took a while to get here. My other job is a peach farmer on the western slope of Colorado. Most days I can be found doing something in my paint shed, out in the orchard or just hanging out with my family and our great dane, Reggie. People are always asking what my paintings mean, or what I was thinking about while creating them. I never have a "real" answer for them. Painting is such an emotional download for me... the best thing I can do while working on a new project is to get my head out of it and quit thinking. Like a meditation with my eyes open. I hope my work does something for you.
