"I started painting about four years ago and it has been a little sporadic. I began with watercolors and have ended up painting primarily in oil. I love the smell of the paint, the colors, and eventually the subject that comes to life. When it all clicks, it's amazing! I view my world differently now, constantly analyzing everything I see. How would I paint the sunrise, that tree, even the busses whizzing by. Why this dormant urge to paint surfaced at this stage in my life is one of those happy mysteries that make life an adventure."
