Artist Bio

I have been playing with crayons since my fingers could grasp. Snubbed by professional artists who insisted that crayons were not a true art medium, I pursued the use of my "traditional" 64 pack. I love to draw trash, remembrances of a child. I love to draw crooked buildings and outrageous taxi cabs. I love to draw and color whimsical slants on everyday items that are often seen as the burden's of society. I can also paint, I can paint the way "they" want me to paint; so I don't. I call myself a color visionary and it is in that description that my art and creations exist. I am also a creative recycler who turns "one man's trash into my treasure". Gum ball machines that foster aquatic life and canister vacuums that shed light on the subject are just some of the things I create because that is what I see as their best uses outside of their patent. My goal in life is to use my talent to make people smile; to make people laugh. I want to make people happy through the use of brilliant colors, unexpected themes and a certain naivety of an otherwise depressing situation.
