In my past life I had an honours degree in Zoology and an unrewarding career in Accountancy . Motherhood rescued me , then my 3 kids starting school finally gave me some free time to follow my heart. I have been painting and taking photographs for 3 yrs and last year began to sell my work and make commissions . I am entirely self taught which gives me the freedom to be wrong and push the boundaries of what I do . I love bright colors which creat a visceral response in me , I tend to paint with my emotions rather than my head - I have never been a good planner ! My camera is my tool , much as my paint brush is. The technical aspects do not interest me , only the paintings I see around me within the photographs I take. Most photographs are available up to 16x20 as archival Epson prints , matted or unmatted , prices range $65 - $275
