Rachel started pencil drawing and some painting in 1992 while her kids were attending art classes. This rapidly developed into fascination and obsession with drawing and painting so she started attending art classes, workshops and read many art books. Rachel has been taught and guided by her art instructor world known artist Renee Amitai.
Rachel spends most of her free time painting, but also enjoys listening to music and reading.
Rachel’s favorite subjects to paint are: figures, horses, flowers and seascapes. She uses vibrant colors, bold brush strokes and her imagination to create the subjects and the energy in her paintings.
Rachel is an active member of The San Fernando Valley Art Club (SFVAC), and has presented her works in a number of the club group shows, as well as in private galleries in the USA and abroad.
