Beautiful colours and dynamics! It looks like someone is dancing among the flowers rather than tiptoeing -- very uplifting! :)
Artist Reply: Laura, I really appreciate your observation and comment. I titled the painting TIPTOE THROUGH THE TULIPS because it was the name and first line of an old, old song my mother and grandmother woud sing to me. I think the idea was that the couple would meet there, having been quiet not to inform anybody, and do whatever kids used to do back then. Well, so, I think your suggestion is much more accurate for this painting and especially for its mood. So, I'm going to change the title and hope that giving you credit for "making me see the light" will suffice as payment and appreciation. Thank you so very much Laura, and I am very glad that you have added your talent, as well as your keen eyes (why do people usually say somebody has a "keen eye," as if they had only one?) and both accurate and fearless judgement to ArtWanted. (I like to think that few people would be so bold as to dare to express such an implicit criticism!) Peace, etc., Bruce
Artist Reply: Thanks so much, Sharon, and for your many other encouraging comments, too. But, I do not know what "marbled abstract" means. Sounds good to me, though. Peace, etc., Bruce
