Copy of Corneelis van der Geest painted in 1620 by Anthony van Dyck. I did this from a print-out. Oil on mdf board 24 x 30 cm. I tried to focus on the skin colouring and the expression and left the ruff rough (great!). My efforts are far from the real thing-who could match van Dyck- but it was a good exercise in interpretation. Signed on the back "Copy of van Dyck by AKDixon 2013
