Snow,Snow,Snow over 2 feet in Arkansas. Amazing to see. I have finished a painting and have taken pictures of the snow. Also, I accepted the job of being president of a pastel society. It is a great opportunity to share ideas and have fun with other artists. Looking forward to some trips in the next few months but just enjoying the quietness of being home and creating as my world has turned lily white.

I had a great Christmas with family and friends. One of the highlights was a trip to Branson, Missouri. We stayed at the Majestic condo on the Lake. Even in winter it is beautiful to view the water. Then we drove up to Springfield where they throw homemade rolls in Lambert's Restaurant. That was a lot of fun and good food. Perhaps the best memory was the millions of lights that illuminated Silver Dollar City and the smiles on children's faces as they lit the giant Christmas tree that played Christmas carols. Christmas memories are so much better than gifts. I would rather have moments that I can cherish throughout the years

Beautiful fall here in Arkansas. I have work in the regional pastel show "Pastel Panorama". Wonderful work is there for viewers. Many fine artists live in this area and the creativity abounds. I love the change of seasons as the landscape changes and my eyes see the beauty to photograph and create with different art mediums. It enriches my soul.

Busy time.... I cracked a bone in my foot and I have a walker... It has slowed me down for 6 weeks. I can do my art and have time to reflect..It will give me time to catch up on some of the things I love to do and make me miss one of my favorite things which is swimming...I have always noticed I do some of my best artwork when I do a workshop and I was lucky to study with a wonderful pastel artist Julie Mayser,,I completed 3 new works and I have works in several places (art center, continuing ed exhibit and the county fair,,, So I have not been still long lol

Wonderful trip to New Mexico for my birthday July 6. I enjoyed the Georgia O'Keefe Museum and going to Taos to the see the art and the pueblo. The scenery is so wonderful for an artist..I got to go see Maria of the Pueblos village of San Ildefonso and got to see the black ware pottery being made. That was a thrill. I visited her great granddaughter's gallery there. Santa Fe is so rich in art and history. I can see why Georgia O'Keefe lived nearby at Abiqui. The mountains were majestic with their colors and shapes..

Beautiful spring here... I have been busy. I studied with Timothy J Clark in a watercolor workshop and had a great time. We painted for 3 days. He is a great artist and very well known with work in the Smithsonian. I recently went to Honor Heights Park in Muskogee and the azaleas were gorgeous. I have work in Nepal and I have my photos in a contest called "reasons to love Idaho" in a national exhibit. Next is a photo contest in my area and I will submit 3 and another one exhibit in June. So a busy time,,,,

I had a great time in California. Saw the stars homes and the beach. I stayed in the Millenium Biltmore hotel in Los Angeles. It was beautiful like being in Italy or France. When I returned I had an invitation to send photos of the beautiful places in America to Nepal. There will be an exhibition in Nepal from April 25-May 4. I sent 3 photos from Arkansas,Oklahoma and Idaho. I was honored to be asked to exhibit there.
