After joining my family in Ohio a few years ago during the local Riverdays Celebration, my Dad wanted to have portraits done at a little booth doing sepia portraits with wild west and civil war costumes. We had alot of fun dressing up and getting our pictures taken. A few months later I used the half of the photo with him in it to do a portrait for him as a Xmas present. So I grabbed a masonite panel I'd already gessoed and after about 2 days I had this nice little 8.5" by 11" acrylic painting. I had a nice ornate semi period frame put on at the local framing shop, and Merry Xmas dad.
