All of my paintings stem from images, symbols, archetypes, and stories that either stir within my psyche or stream through from the cosmos. Oftentimes I feel drawn towards or repelled against a particular story or symbol. Sometimes the images come in a vision and demand to be painted. Generally I do not know why at first, but I following the urge to express regardless. I often find insight intrigue or catharsis in the act of creation itself. The paintings live in me as I work with them, and shape my life story both during and after the creation. I am a mother of two young daughters. I am a counselor on the healing path in the field of depth (Jungian) psychology. I am a priestess, for many years I have been engaging in and conducting ceremony through an earth based spiritual tradition. I find myself drawn towards the mystic path, the dark mystery of the depths, the miracles of nature, the endlessness of the cosmos...the nature of heart consciousness.
