Aphrodite Art is owned and managed by Karen Brookman who works as a freelance artist, photographer and educator in North West England. Karen designs and delivers creative workshops and activities for a range of clients in the North West that includes:

- Leading creative educational sessions in schools, galleries, museums and community centres for children and adults - Working with those who have learning difficulties, English as an additional language & mental health issues - Working with all ages from children to the elderly

Karen's working practice as an artist and photographer helps inspire and inform her work as an educator, working in a range of mediums and styles but specialising in:

- Abstract figurative art - Landscape photography - Abstract photography

Karen's work as an artist and photographer has also included commissions for cd artwork, website content and photographic supplies for corporate gifts. Her work is exhibited throughout the North West, but is sold locally and internationally.
