At the edge of the real and the imaginary, under the appearance of forms from the reality, these landscapes unveiled a possible world, a space defined only by the mistery of the known. The universe revealed by this silent voyage contains more or less familiar shapes:shells, conches, hills, spirals, and symbols of the opposed yet complementary principles such as sky/earth, light/darkness, ascent/descent. But they do not help our eye to recognize the real:on the contrary they undergo a process of metamorphosis which enhances whatever is ambiguous, marvellous and fantastic. The conch continues to reappear as an obssessive shape in visions which do not exhaust the richness of its form, nor reveal all its misterises. The conch conveys the silent message of a possible world, of its own undefinable and unknowable space. Here is a journey in a world of irreductible strangeness...
