Andrea Benetti (b. 1964, Bologna, Italy) is an Italian visual artist and the creator of the Manifesto of Neo-Cave Art, presented at the 53rd Venice Biennale. His work explores the relationship between prehistoric imagery and contemporary artistic language. Benetti’s artworks are included in important public and institutional collections worldwide, including those of the United Nations, the Vatican, the Quirinal Palace, and the Italian Parliament. In 2020, he received the Nettuno d’Oro, Bologna’s highest cultural honor.
