"Balboa Union Church Panama Canal Zone" where I attended church all my life until I married & left when I was 20. I was president of the youth group in Junior High & High School, and I sang in the choir. And when we did not spend the summer in Pennsylvania, I spent the summer in the youth program & Bible school and went to Summer camp in El Valle for 1 or 2 weeks. It is where I rode my first horse; made s'mores by the camp fire. There was a bomb shelter in the Balboa Union Church basement where we went during the war with a threat of an air raid & for drills. The very same as we did in school; a flash drill we hit the floor under our desk with hand over our neck & a drill with time we marched out of our room with all its windows to lay down in the very wide halls & put our hand over our neck. Also the Balboa Union Church is the only church in the World to be incorporated by an Act of the US Congress.
