I m an artist because it feels so good to be creative. Doing a painting feeds my soul and enriches my life. The spirit blessed me and gave me enough talent for seed so that I could nurture it and experience its growth. I m an artist in the state of becoming and it s very exciting and gratifying to me to know that my artistic horizons are expanding in directions that I never expected. Having my art appreciated by others and selling it is a bonus, but all I really ask is that the creative spirit continues to reside in me and help me to produce ever more interesting and challenging work. I love working and playing with colours and sometimes use it unconventionally. An example would be painting a lighthouse scene using only white and blue in the painting for an interesting effect, or a lavender moonlit mountain and water scene. I prefer to produce pieces that evoke an emotional response in myself and the viewer.
