Born many years ago, one of eight children (seven boys), I have lived a few lives and think mostly well lived. Hopefully a couple left to experience. I am quite and quietly retired in Martinez, California. After retiring, started taking walks for exercise and in my wandering along the trails and paths, I saw changing beauty with the light and sky, so using my iPhone I took some photos. Got a Nikon 5600 in October 2018 and learning how to use it to capture what's around me has been gratifying and have since gotten a Nikon D850, which has been much fun to work with. I am blessed to still be able to greet each day and try to discover the beauty or what might not be so beautiful, and capture it with the lens.
