Tamara Shpolyansky Rabinovich

The painter and the artist Tamara was born in 1951, in the City of Tashkent in Uzbekistan former part of USSR. She found her way into the world of visual arts at an early age and received first drawing lessons from her father. His name was Gregoriy Pavlovic Shpolyansky, a prominent painter in Uzbekistan (passed away in 1974).

Tamara completed her formal education in the field of arts in the University of Tashkent in 1975.

Tamara moved to Moscow in 1985, there she participated in many exhibitions and art festivals.

In 1991 she immigrated to Israel with her family. Over the years her works were presented in many galleries in Israel. Among these were Safray and Exodus in Jerusalem; Studio, Square in Tel Aviv. She also participated in exhibition of Jerusalem Post and in the Art Expo 1999 in New York. Tamara's art participated in many art festivals and projects.

After coming to Israel Tamara continued to develop her art, explore new techniques, materials and themes. She works with aquarelle, oil, acryl using different surfaces e.g. canvas, paper, glass, metal and wood.
