snarko!'s work is at once a contradiction of the terms expression and order and a perfect synthesis of the two. While working at a relentless speed, she is always in perfect control of the chaos that she creates. From concept to execution, an artwork can take as long as two months to as little as two minutes.
snarko!'s paintings work at many different levels of viewing, from the bold statement of a cursory glance to a rich world of texture and detail for the viewer willing to linger longer. There's a narrative in every piece, whether it's the story of a Japanese ghost, an entire lexicon of a tarot deck, or the wandering of an errant fan brush.
