Shooting photos and making other digital creations since 2002 Started with a Kodak film camera in the 80's & 90's, then moved to digital in 2002 Started with Fuji fine pix, (several) the I got my first Nikon and haven't looked back Currently shooting with Nikon D300, D90 and Samsung Z Flip 6 (cell phone always a scout cam 1st) Published a few times, coffee table photobooks mostly from contests but hey it's all good experience Love Landscapes, Cityscapes, Macros and Black n White photography mostly, Trying my hand in the digital art world the last 3 plus years. Flowers in vases, abstract, Bauhaus and Cubism are some of my favorites and what seems a lot of my photography lends itself to. Started pic 2 painting my first years of PS. Sometimes when you're shooting, you see a painting or a postcard instead, so you use your tools to make it happen Henri Matisse', Erte', Keith Haring, Ansel Adams and Jackson Pollack are some of my favorite artists & inspiring creators in the art world. Others of course. Ansel once said "We don't shoot photographs, we make photographs" I've always found that to be true. Sure, we shoot the shot, but then afterwards....the magic happens.
