Adorn a room with a night landscape painting that features astronomy phenomena such as meteor showers, Aurora Borealis and comets. Or an archaeoastronomy painting that is based on the ancient knowledge of astronomy from people such as the Aztec, Mayan, Peruvian, Egyptian, Babylonian and the like.

“The artwork is designed to entice onlookers to learn about astronomy and archaeology,” said Anawanitia Petty, artist of Lucid Dream Creations. “The archaeoastronomy paintings express stories that describe the constellations and other astronomical curiosities that held significance to the ancient peoples.”

The works include written languages, glyphs or other symbolic drawings that identify the culture of study. The nighttime landscapes and astronomy artworks contain star charts or constellations, designed to be used as a practical astronomy reference, as well as decor.
